An ideal vacation destination for families or couples traveling together, Norton's cottage on Orcas Island was the original home of Felix and Esther Norton who crafted Orcas Island's first resort in Deer Harbor. Located on a knoll overlooking Deer Harbor, Norton's cottage is a short stroll down the hill to many Orcas Island activities including: sea kayaking, whale watching, and beach combing. Or walk across the street to enjoy a fabulous home cooked meal at the Deer Harbor Inn's Restaurant.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with full kitchen and laundry privileges. Stretch out on our large leather sofa and look for eagles passing by. Or relax in the Jacuzzi spa out on the deck with views of the sunset over the lagoon in Deer Harbor and the warm glow of the Olympic mountains to the south of Orcas Island.
Norton's cottage has lodging accommodations for up to 8 comfortably in queen size beds, a canopy king, or a full size futon bunk. Roll away beds are available to accommodate larger groups.
